Committies & Liasions

Booster Membership Committee

Position Open

The Membership Committee helps grow membership in the Jupiter Community High School Sports Booster Club by setting up a membership booth at designated sporting events throughout the school year, as chosen by the committee.

Provides all Booster members with their membership identification card and/or electronic app indicating membership.

Represents the Membership Committee at the Warrior Welcome, where many new parents will be on campus, and explain the many Booster Membership advantages to those parents and other interested parties.

Banner Committee

Jeanne McCammon
jhsbanners@gmail.com

The Banner Committee is an integral part of the foundation. This committee helps the sports teams and the marching band raise money by assisting in the banner sales to the community businesses.

Businesses are able to purchase a banner and have it displayed year-round in the stadium or gym for all of the community that attend events at the high school. It’s a “win-win” for both the businesses and the students of the sports teams and marching band that it is credited to.

Fundraising Committee

Position Open

The Fundraising Committee raises money for capital projects, facilities, team equipment, and other general equipment used by the students at the school. If there is a specific “need” at the school, and the fundraising committee hears about it, they can put a fundraising drive together to help secure that need.

This committee focuses on larger companies and donors in the Jupiter area to let them know of the various programs and initiative the foundation is fundraising for. They are also focused on setting up an alumni fundraising event once per year, and continuously creating opportunities at big sports games and band events for raising funds.

Publicity Committee

Position Open

The Publicity Committee is in charge of getting the word out to the community about the foundations activities. You will see events and announcements pop up on Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat, and any other type of social media out there concerning the foundation. All events the school is promoting (big and small) will be announced. The committee will also announce and promote any event that the foundation is creating and promoting.

School Liaisons

Position Open

The Warrior Athletic Foundation’s School Liaisons are our Principal, Dr. Colleen Iannitti and Kim Jalm, the school’s Athletic Director. Also assisting them and the foundation as a whole is Johnnie Hubbard, who is an important advisor to our foundation. As “liaisons” they all will keep the foundation up-to-speed on all of the events happening at the school. They also will let the foundation know of the specific needs that are to keep the school sports teams, band, and other activities moving forward. The support and communication from our School Liaisons is critical to the success of the foundation.

Team Liaisons

Position Open

Each Sports Team and Band will have one Team Liaison that will keep the foundation informed on important news about their team. Jupiter Community High School has 31 active sports and band. Each of those entities has specific needs that they fundraise for on their own. However at times, they need more resources to meet their needs (equipment, travel, etc.). A Team Liaison (usually a parent of a student on the team) will act as that bridge to the foundation to keep us informed about the specific needs.
